FITNESS CENTER RULES AND REGULATIONS
Control of Fitness Center Usage
The use of the Fitness Center shall be subjected to the control of the Club Operator. The fitness center will be closed when necessary for maintenance or when dictated by safety considerations. Operating hours will be posted on the Club website, calendars, and other applicable communication platforms. Members, Authorized Users and guests shall observe all rules and regulations which will be enforced by the Director of Fitness & Wellness.
Guest Policy
Members may invite guests to the Fitness Center, subject to applicable guest fees and limitations. Guests must check-in in advance and be accompanied by the sponsoring Member. A Member may bring up to three guests when using the Fitness Center, and Members may bring the same guest up to a maximum of 20 times per calendar year, any exceptions and/or special requests must be approved in advance by the Director of Fitness & Wellness. Group classes are reserved for Members only, unless there is space prior to the class starting. The Club Operator may also invite guests and/or prospective Members to the Fitness Center.
Check-In
All Members, Authorized Users and guests must check-in prior to utilizing the Fitness Center.
Attire
Proper fitness attire (shirts and shoes required) must be worn in the Fitness Center. Swimsuits, sandals or bare feet are not permitted.
Children
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian unless they are attending a youth fitness class, a personal training session or have prior approval from the Director of Fitness & Wellness.
Group Classes, Personal Training & Workshops
Prior registration is required for all group classes and workshops, which are available to Members on a first-come, first-served basis. Group classes and workshops without any registered participants at least one hour prior to the scheduled start time are subject to cancellation. If you are unable to attend a scheduled group class or workshop, please cancel within 12 hours out of courtesy for fellow Members and instructors.
Outside fitness instructors, trainers, and coaches (i.e. – those not in contract with Lake Nona Golf & Country Club) are prohibited to give instruction on Club property unless prior approval is given by the Club Operator or the Director of Fitness & Wellness.
Any fitness charges for personal training and workshops are to be billed to the Member’s account. Providing instructors cash, other forms of payment, or barter agreements are strictly prohibited.
Equipment
For the enjoyment of all Members, please return all weights, equipment, and towels when you are finished using them.
POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS
Control of Activity
Members, Authorized Users and guests shall observe all rules and regulations posted poolside. Persons failing to observe these rules and regulations are subject to loss of pool privileges.
Hours of Operation
The pool shall be open and available for use during such hours as shall be determined by the Club Operator which may change from time to time. Use of the swimming pool at all other times is prohibited.
Own Risk
Use of the pool will be at the Member’s, Authorized User’s and guest’s own risk.
Illness
For health reasons, persons with skin disorders, infections or other illnesses are not permitted at or in the pool. No bandages, adhesive or similar type tape shall be worn in the pool.
Attire
All swimmers must be appropriately attired in bona fide swimwear. Cut-offs, shorts and the like, are not permitted. Bathing attired is not permitted to be worn in the main Clubhouse.
BOAT DOCK REGULATIONS
Control
The use of and all activities at and on the dock shall be subject to the control of the Club Operator which shall determine the suitability of the dock for use. The dock may be closed for maintenance or for safety reasons as determined by the Club Operator.
Hours of Operation
The dock shall be open and available for use during such hours as shall be determined by the Club Operator from time to time. Use of the dock at other times is prohibited.
Fueling
Fueling operations shall be conducted on or from the dock only in accordance with the Orange County Zoning Regulations applicable to the Club. Club fuel is available and can be paid on account or cash and must be pumped by staff member.
Members’ Boats
The Club Operator retains absolute discretion whether to permit Members to launch their own boat from the Club Facilities. Such permission must be granted by the Club Operator before any boat may be launched. Members and guests are prohibited from leaving their boat at the dock overnight.
Boat Concierge
Members may request the Club Operator to launch personal boats via the Club dock, and remove the boat from the lake at the end of use. There will be a fee set by the Club that is subject to change for this service. The Club shall not accept any liability for any damage or destruction of boat, personal property, or personal injury.
