Golf Instruction

Lake Nona’s Golf Professional staff offers the highest level of instruction suitable for all skill levels. Whether you are a beginner or a skilled golfer, our team of instructors can help improve your game with specialized private lessons combined with Pro V1 video and computer programming, along with weekly clinics designated for adults, ladies and juniors.

    DIRECTOR OF GOLF

    Matt has been a British PGA Class A Coach and Instructor for 18 years, garnering a wealth of knowledge through that time. He has also competed on multiple tours across the world and has won many professional golf events, which has further developed his understanding of what it takes for players to be successful in preparing and executing their golfing ambitions. Matt is a certified Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner and has worked with golfers of all ages and abilities, from novice players to touring professionals, including players on the Ladies European Tour European Tour. Developing in-depth coaching programs for golfers to maximize their potential and enjoyment from the game is the soul aim of Matt’s coaching style, and he is especially skilled in short game skill development.

    HEAD GOLF PROFESSIONAL

    As both a Class “A” Member the PGA of America and the British PGA, Martin brings a certified and established background in the golf industry to his role as Head Golf Professional. Originally from Sligo, Ireland, Martin is a former Irish Junior Champion, competed on the Euro Pro Tour in Europe, and played Division 1 golf at the University of Toledo, Ohio. Prior to joining Lake Nona’s golf professional staff in 2017, Martin served as the teaching professional at County Sligo Golf Club in Ireland for nine years. He looks forward to continuing to elevate our services and remains dedicated to providing our Members with a world-class golfing, teaching and tournament experience.

    Members: $150/hr | Non-Members: $175/hr

Club Fitting & Repair

One of the simplest ways to improve your game is to play with equipment that is built for your game.

Lake Nona’s custom club fitting experience is a fun, interactive session to determine your golf equipment needs. Our Director of Club Fitting & Building, Neely Robertson, will guide you through the custom fitting system, utilizing a universal adapter to allow golfers to demo a variety of club brands, and will then provide an analysis and advice on the best product to match your game.

Utilizing the fully equipped club repair workshop, our Golf Professional staff is also expertly trained to perform a comprehensive list of club repair and maintenance services for all your equipment needs.
